I thought it was a lot bigger than that. Puts the old ipod photos to shame doesnt it!

Still a big price diff between the ipod nano and the ipod video!

I like it but the fact that the old accessories dont work puts me right off, and that the new accessories will have to go in the dock connector at the bottom is just odd, wont look right at all.

They should go in the top.

True but for someone who doesnt/hasnt owned any Ipod(s) before its hevan sent. Its so slim, and doesnt it hold 40 and 60gb?

@ Debu: How much did you pay for it? Is it the 40/60gb version?

I suppose so, it comes in 30gb or 60gb, black and white versions. I have a standard 20gb at the moment but would love a video ipod, if anyone wants to buy me a present

So you going to get one jiggyjaggy?

Ahhh..well I just clicked 4 or so buttons which means I just ordered one as you asked me that question! lol.

I was thinking what to do: Dilema:

I have a car, which I wanted an Ipod for, was thinking the old photo ipod. but then I thought get a video one, it actually fits in the gap between cd player and stereo flap in the TT...perfect!

Dilema 2: Wanted a small ipod for the train/running, was thinking shuffle, but decided it would really bug me If I cant see what song im looking at! AGGGhHHH! So i decided for the nano. Basically the shuflle is a W800i with a 2 gb card, so its pointless!

@JiggyJaggy: It cost me 19k inr, That's bout $170, for the 30GB model. Plus Put in $29.99 for the QuickTime Pro 7, which is required for converting your existing video's to the ipod mp4 format. (You can use any other software, but the quicktime video's look great on it).

Hmm not sure there is a universal dock which has been released and a remote so if you get a cable to go into the back of the dock and into your tv then i suppose it could be possible.

The dock and remote are sweet!!!

Can you not plug AV cables straight into the ipod itself?

@J: You can playback the vid's on the TV with the A/V cable, but you have to buy that seperately. A 3-hour movie takes about 1000MB.
