W800 back cover on K750i possible? |

The lens cover on the w800 looks and operates better than the one on the k750i. Is it possible to change only the back cover, i.e. have a 750i with a w800 back? |

It should fit ok as everything lines up the same. It could look weird though.

I wouldnt change it if I were you... The w800 lens cover is likely to scratch the portrait mirror with repeated movement. Not so with the K750 mechanism.

Huh? How could the lens cover of W800 scratch the portrait mirror when the mechanism of the lens cover is behind the portrait mirror?! |

the portrait mirror is ON the back cover, so if you change the WHOLE backcover, then how can it scratch the mirror? You cannot change only the lense cover, you can only change the whole back cover.
Oh okay I get it ... the w800 lense cover itself. but would it really be that bad? as kristianm says the lense cover is behind the mirror?
