I have tried hard to find out how to use it to edit MP3s to use as ringtones but all things I've read seem to just suggest using other sound editors eg. Soundforge & Audacity. Isn't it about time SE gave some clues as to how to use their own free downloadable one or am I just hopelessly missing something here? Nothing seems to play on the phone even if you think you've done it right.
Audacity is great but it sounds a bit tinny and I'd just like to know what the SE one would sound like if only I could make it work. Why is Audio Recorder listed above Audio Player? Sources listed are CD/Microphone/Line Out but which is the right one for PC files?
Sorry. Am a bit frustrated. (I do realise there are more important things going on in the world than getting ringtones onto your phone, honest.)
