K750i Shortcuts |

Hey Guys...
I have a problem with shortcuts on my phone. I create new shortcuts and they work fine but when I turn off my phone and back on again, my shortcuts dissappear and revert back to the default shortcuts.
Anyone have this same problem?
Cheers

Ive read on forums about other people having this problem as well. I had this problem earlier when I first got my k750 but seems to have gone now. I havent upgraded firmware or anything.
Kind of related, not sure about other games but I have midnight pool and its seems sometimes if I turn off the phone the saved data dissapears. |

@citysoldier
Loss of data over a switch off indicates a memory fault...
I remember I had over a dozen consecutive T68i's that were unable to keep the mms/gprs settings in memory everytime I turned it off....
Incidentally all these were Carphone warehouse Phones....
I hate them with a passion...

afaik this bug existed in previous firmware versions R1A and R1J. you should check if your k750 has one of those firmwares. but restarting and repeat setting the shortcuts should do the trick as previously mentioned. you may want to update firmware as i'm sure it's fixed in the latest firmware R1N. |

it's a intermitent fault not linked to f/w but flash finalisation issues...

Thanks Leviath. Memory fault, does that mean theres something wrong with the phone? Im running R1J firmware and havent upgraded yet because for one in NZ SE only has R1L firmware and when they do get R1N Im probably not gonna get that because of the bug that people are getting with lossing files.
I dont know if Ill keep having the memory fault because most of the time I dont turn off the phone unless it freezes. Other than that it will be the battery running down |

some people here in Esato have said turning the phone off and on (rebooting) a few times as resolved this issue... but however it's not allways been the case...
this fault could be an indicative of something wrong with mobile...
I have read about memory stick curruption.... Just one of the things a small isuue like that left unatended can lead to...
Applying an update to such a phone is unwise but we users think and hope it may just fix the issues... Not really... ok.. maybe if your lucky.
Other issues have persisted and yet users put up with it.... Worst they try to fix it themselfs making other people money when they have paid and are entitled to a 100% working phone....
Its beyond me....
