given the requirement yes i was been serious since travel is out of the question there are 2 carphonewarehouse repair centres in sheffield and if they bugger up the phone they will have to replace it. so really max cant lose. he gets his old phone back in working order or he gets a new one from cpw.
got to be easier than putting it in the hands of a courior where it will be thrown a round in several white vans.
but i take on board that you think the service they provide is crap |

i've emailed them asking for postage details
surely if the se service is in cpw i didn't buy from there so won't they charge me

As my father owns his own european courier business I take quite some offence to that, do you really think that the likes of DHL & private couriers just play pass the parcel and dropkick the ones with 'fragile' Learn to get your facts right before you post stupid comments like that.
p.s. courior - I take it you meant to write courier
p.p.s. a round - This is all one word,

there not really se service centres as such there just authorised repairs , dont htink se have there our places in the uk there all just people authorised to carry out repairs.
i see no reason why you should be charged as the phone has a 12 month warrenty, they may ask for proof of purchase but i would just say it was a present from a relative so you dont have a reciept. they should argue as the phone has a serial number and they just cross charge se for the repairs.
just give them a ring or drop in it costs nothing to ask |

well my personal experience is just that. i work for a major brewery and we delivery large quantities of glasses around the country using couriers and the glasses have fragile written all over them and i get several phone calls every day complaining about the damage caused.
i sure your experience maybe differnet but unfortunatly my isnt and we can only go by our own experience.
i m sure even your fathers firm as good as they are has breakages |
