you can use pc application 'float's mobile agent'. you install it on pc, you need connection over bluetooth, infrared, and data cable. you'll have many options, but among others possibillity to add/edit/delete sim contacts.

Yes, do that if your goal is to overwrite phone contacts, and sim contacts to stay on sim card. :-)

I havent tried this but make a backup of all the contacts on PC, Just in case...

On the phone under contacts/options/advanced/default contacts choose sim contacts from list and apply...

So now the phone is dialling from sim not phone memory...

Go out and delete all contacts from the option below.... [addsig]

okay here goes...

1. Back-up ALL your contacts on the PC.
2. Delete all contacts from phone memory.
3. Copy all contacts from phone memory to SIM.

Since you have no contacts in phone, it will copy blank entries, thus erasing all SIM numbers.

Easy as that.

FMA doesn't always work - depends on phone model. For my K600i, FMA is not able to read the entire phonebook. ALso, if you have multiple phone (I have a P910, K600 and my GF's Z800), you may have trouble getting FMA to work.

I can always remove my post if you are offended by alternate solutions. All hail blayv!
