got a sim free w800i yesterday & put in a new genie sim but wont send mms! Iv downloaded settings numerous times but still doesnt work, when i try to send a mms, a message saying "sending failed, service unavailable" comes up. Someone please help, its doing my head in!!!

Which profile does your MMS use at the moment for sending MMS', is the the O2 MMS profile?? Try using the 'O2 GPRS' profile that u use for connecting to WAP...

that the one im using but no working though

the settings are as follows: Connect using: O2 WAP GPRS
Internet mode: Wap
gateway address: 193.113.200.195
security: off
username: payandgo
password: password
message server: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

i can browse the o2 active & everything fine but just cant send mms tho

I too have this bloody problem! Absolutely gutted, only just bought this phone and didn't expect this straight away

PLEASE help someone, I don't wana get rid of this phone unless I absolutely have to.

I know this may be stating the obvious.but have you contacted 02,s dedicated P&G call line? Sometimes the card has to be "authorised" by them to allow it?

First things first...
Contact o2 as them if mms is provisioned on the sim card...
you need both GPRS and MMS on your sim...

Once thats setup you should be fine, if its not it only takes 48hrs to be provisioned...

the settings sent from SE's site work fine...
