K750 mp3 playback volume |

Hello,
I ve seen a lot of topics regarding the low volume of the mp3 playback on the k750. I dont care much about the speaker volume but I do care a lot about the headphones volume. The reason for upgrading from k700 is to take advantage of the k750's memory card to store a decent amount of songs. Is the k750 headphones' volume lower than the k700's one ????

the K750 headphones are crap to put it bluntly! you can buy an adaptor so you can plug your own headphones in or you could buy a HPM-70. Also try upgrading via SEUS to the new firmware which improves the mp3 playback. |

I dont own yet a k750. What I want to know is how k750 compares to k700 in terms of headphones volume. I dont consider k700's volume to be great but its adequate. |

having not owned either phone i can only assume, but i would think that the headsets provided for both phones are along the same lines in terms of quality. However the K750 im sure would produce a better sound overall |

If you havent owned either phone how do you know the k750's headphones are crap?
Moreover, regarding the 3.5inch-adaptor... the standard headphones are also a hands-free, if I used regular 3.5inch ones then I would lose that functionality, right ?

my flat mate has a K750 and he has moaned about them before.
As i said, you could buy a HPM-70, which are the headphones/headset you get with the W80, and that has the handsfree mic on it. Think you can pick them up for Á£25. Alternatively you can buy aftermarket ones of eBay....
It really depends on how bothered about it you are, if you aren't, then just stick with the supplied headphones. |

I have this same issue. I've got the adapter to run my own headphones, it sounds terrific, just too quiet! With the bar all the way to the top it's only just loud enough, and is too quite for outdoor use (town etc...).
I've ordered the ones from Play (which are the same as the ones included with the W800i) to see if it makes any difference, but i'm not hopeful

if you want it to be louder-get headphones with lower resistance or get some pocket amlifier for headphones I tried sennheiser hd650 (300 Ohm!) headphones with k750 fimrware r1n035 and volume is ok, but not that high. |

I found the same with my sennheisers (HD202's). Volume considerably lower than ear bud headphones. Of course excellent quality though:-D |

Why not try amplifying the mp3's you's listen to, i use MP3Gain and boost them to 98Dba, makes them nice and loud and doesnt create much clipping either. The good feature of mp3 gain is that you can amplify a batch at a time instead of having to do one after another. |
