750i Bluetooth sync & usb starts but fails |

Hi
Just got a 750i and very pleased with it generally, however, when attempting to sync with Outlook on both USB & Bluetooth it sarts 'analysing' within the sync software but never gets any further. Tried it on Bluetooth first & thought this might be the issue so swapped to USB but exactly the same problem.
I can also see the memeory stick on SE file manager when using bluetooth but not when connected via usb.
I'm using an Acer notebook with Win XP SP2 and had been able to sync with my old SE phone.
Thanks

You wont be able to see your memory card wilst the USB cable is plugged in since when this happens the memory card is mounted as a massive storage removable device....
The only way to see both at same time (phone memory and memory card) is to download the phone monitor and connect it via BT...
mobile_phone_monitor
However the same is possible wilst via OBEX file transfer which you must set up via BT...
Are you using the latest SE phone suite?
Sony Ericsson PC Suite

Thanks yes I'm using the latest software.
Interestingly with my old SE phone when syncing Outlook security prompted me with the option to allow access. After confirming the sync was carried out. At the moment the SE software recognises the phone, synching starts with the bars progressing about 25% but only up to the anyalising stage.
Under the phone monitor I've enabled all the ports but when looking at the phone's properties in the Control Panel - Bluetooth access is denied in terms of ticking the serial port access for example?

enabling all the ports just means that the program will search for the phone in all the ports...
try the default settings and reserve port 14
