After a month of use my Shutter has given up. I've only taken around 100 pics and now I can no longer use the switch to open the cover, I have to manually open it to take a pic. When you move the switch it still turns the cam on and off so I'd say its just the spring that has gone. Bloody annoying really as there is noone selling the W800i over here yet so I have to wait a few weeks before i'm in the UK to get it repaired. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else yet???

I haven't tried yet mate. I've ruined my K750i by taking it apart the camera no longer works at all on that I just haven't had any free time recently. I think i'll work on my K750i at the weekend as its useless without its cam.

Thanks Jeko, you gave me the confidence to go ahead and take my W800i apart! I removed the case and what did I find wedged under the shutter... A big piece of tobacco which has now been removed and the cam is back to working perfectly!!! Yippee
