Upgrade Delays :-( |

I just sent off my T68 for upgrade in the UK just over a week ago. The next day I was told by a reputable mobile phone store that ericsson was having a very large problem with the flashing of phones 
Supposidly the company that flashes the phones for ericsson is no more, meaning they cant do any more of them at the moment!!
Can anybody verify if this is true? Should i be getting ready to buy a new phone?!?

haven't heard anything about any problems with updating phones... but have heard some other things that may cause some serious delays (at least here in Sweden) for repairs on T68 phones... |

I have the same problem here in Belgium.
I also wanted to upgrade my T68.
I'm still waiting to get my phone back. |

In the UK, ring 08705 237 237, and ask them where your nearest Service Centre is.
You don't need to send your phone away, just take it to the nearest place and they will upgrade it for you. It normally takes less than a day, so is a lot quicker than sending it back to Ericssson. |
