hi there, can anyone please help, ive had my SE K750i about a month now and last night attempted to update the firmware - i have the phone on contract on vodafone and the current firmware is R1L002.When i go to sim lock (under service info) all the padlocks are open with the number 5 next to them - anyway i finally managed to get the update to progress - it gets to about 42% then goes really slow to 50% then speeds up to 100% and says update complete.so it tells me to turn the phone back on and choose english etc but when i turn the phone back on it doesnt give me the option to choose a language just goes straight to the main screen - then when i check the firmware its still R1L002 - can anyone tell me whats up and is my phone branded or locked? i have tried my friends orange sim card in it and the phone worked fine??? i have vodafone live on there but i can also have any mp3 as a ringtone so i dont really know if my SE is locked or branded????

can someone please give me any advice?

many many thanks - Jonny

Maybe a master reset will solve the problem BUT you will loose everything, it's like formatting the phone. [addsig]

There is nothing wrong with the update. Also R1L002 is currently the update on the SE site.

R1N035 has been removed due to major problems.

When your phone goes from 50-100% this means that this part of the phone didnt require any update.

Nothing to worry about.

My orange K750i and K700i do it all the time. Mine tonight has gone from 44% to a 100%.
