I am trying to find a setup guide to allow me to use my laptop through my k750i. This is mainly for use on the move when I can't use the works LAN and my home broadband.

Thanks

The first time you pair the two Laptop and k750i

as long as your laptop as a BT dongle it shouldnt be a problem... When your pairing the k750i to the Laptop via laptop (under XP home or pro own bluetooth drivers)

There will be a pop up on laptop asking if you will to use the k750i as a modem... choose yes on the phone choose allow...

now you will have a link to connect to this service anytime...

I do have a bluetooth laptop but still haven't managed to get it connected.

I want to use standard dial up not gprs as I only get 1mb gprs free but I get 400 minutes free, so I plan using up my 400 minutes first.

thanks

I have the bluetooth modem installed on the PC and a com port has been assigned.

I am trying to get the PC to call my dial up through that connection but it just fails but doesn't give an error.

in a related topic (sorry to hijack), is it possible to connect to the internet via a wireless connection from your PC, ie use your PC's connection on your phone (and have the same speed?).

@The Bear

only via active sync and I dont think the k750i supports it and about the speed NO... I got a 3meg broadband connection if my K750i could support that it would melt
