I am thinking of switching from MS Outlook to Thunderbird as I have heard it is a great mail software. But, before I do install it, I would like to know whether it will be possible to SYNC it with my K750 over bluetooth connection. So I can get rid of the whole Office package (I am installing open office as well).

Is it possible for anyone who has tried this successfully to write a small "step by step" guide?
YES, I have used the search but I came up with unanswered posts asking the same question and so I thought I would post it once again myself

Thank you in advance for any help.

PS- Does thunderbird also have memos and calendar, as well as an address book? I mean, will it get me going without MS Outlook still having the same features?
It is really important for me to know, as I use Outlook a lot, but currently I am quite angry at MS so I would like to switch...

Thank you a lot in advance for any useful posts.
If anyone also would like to have an answer to my questions, please put "me to" as a reply, so I don't get the feeling I am alone asking and, moreover, people who successfully did manage to sync might get "stimulated" a little more

ciao ciao

Im sorry, i can't really help with the synching issues. but i do use thunderbird for email, and have for a while now.
when you first install it, it's pretty nice. **But** there is one thing to remember. extensions!

https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/?application=thunderbird

There are tons of extentions! Look around, see if any help you.

For a calander, they offer one. You have to install it after you install thunderbird. Here is the direct link.

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mo[....]/calendar_windows_20050111.xpi
that one is for windows, if your not using windows, go here http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/download.html

(to install the extentions, download to desktop. open up thunderbird, to go tools, then extentions. click on "install" select extention. It will install. When finished, close thunderbird and reopen. they will be installed! Go back to tools, then extentions to get to the options for each one if needed.)

If you mess around with it for a while, i think you might like it. Once it's all customized, your all set.

hope that helps a little.

Dan
