As soon as I get home I'll upload some.. and I'll test the wifi too.
I'm at work now for about 4 hours... enough to load the phone full acording to the quickstart-guide.

@Joel80

Congrats!

Hopefully by the end of the week more of us that have waited so long will get a chance to use a P990

Yea... For now I have it in the stand for loading. I'm at work so I cant test it out fully yet. Quality seems good as first impression.

No case with it... have to buy that separate.
I was able to upload a bad quality picture from my v800.

check it here

To all who owns the P990i retail units, may I ask what is your battery capacity and is it BST-34? In my country, the OFFICIAL P990i will be released with only BST-33 with 900mAh, which should be the same as M600i.

I'll have to come back to you in a couple of days or a week after using the phone for a couple of loads.
The battery seems to be the BST-33.

Edit:
A closer check confirms the BST-33. But it's 950mAh... not 900. I'll take a pic of the battery for you and upload tonight...

Edit2:
The manual says it can take up to 8gb card... I thought it would only be 4gb..
I have orderd a 2gb card.. thats enough for now.. Hehe.. I have to eat bread and water for a while!

Thanks joel for the confirmation. So, SE has removed the BST-34 in place of a lower capacity BST-33? This is not good news...

the white paper lists the BST-32 as the battery that comes with the P990 and mentions the BST-32 has 1120mAh

it lists the BST-34 as an available accessory

there is no mention of the BST-33 but it doesn't surprise me that it really does come with the P990 as well as K800 and M600 etc

Do they actually have any stock then? I notice they claim to on their site.

@sleepyhead

foneplanet.com don't have stock until the end of the week.

Their web site is confusing as it seems to say both only for pre-order and in other places seems to say they it is in stock.

Hi masseur, I am really concerned about this battery capacity of P990i... is SE really that confident that the P990i with integrated video recording and 2MP camera, 3G data and video phone calls, plus the ever ever power hungry WiFi, only requires a mere 950mAh to operate and can last as long as the P910i, which incidentally, has a 1260mAh battery to start with?
