Hi all, like total muppet i turned my phone into a flood controll gate. To do this all you have to do is put you phone in your jeans pockes and then put you jeans in the washing machine, turn onto boil wash and!! HEY PRESTO, one nice blue floodgate!! Dried it out but the battery wont charge and the earpiece speaker is funked. Bummer, everything else seem to work ok though .

Well i hope my contents insurance pays up, please, anyone else done the same?? Will they payup??

take the phone apart and then let it dry off otherwise the contacts on the PCB will go bad. It may need an ultra sonic bath to clean all the gunk off it you can hav it done in sheffield to phone this number and tell them whats happened.
No idea where the shop is and if theyare anygood

claim for the Tv off the house insurance most house insurance doenst cover phones now so you will have to claim it off someting else. Break the shed window and put some of the stuff at a mates house and claim for it. New glass is about £10 and it will get you a new phone. Illegal but hey im only offereing advice
