I recently purchased a k700i data cable, ive installed all the software and the data cable works, as the phone starts charging once placed in the usb slot. The problem is when I click on "My Phones", which im presuming is where I go to transfer files between PC and Phone, its just not connecting, and all that can be seen is a "Not Connected" file. So im wanting to know if im doing this correct, and if not, explain in the most simple terms possible, as im a phone newb.

Ive tried searching the forums, but no decent link has been found, so if you want to prove me wrong and find the answer to my question, then post the link in this thread.

Thanks in advance.

If this is what you mean, then nothing is coming up.

I too have this same problem, the data lead connects to the lead along with the charger, ( the data cable is a DCU-11 cable) and the phone is a k700i, the phone does not do anything when connected expect charge and there is no sign of connectivity on the mobile phone monitor or anywhere else. Does anyone know what could be wrong here?

I have a T226 and I used Send File a long time ago, it took about 5 minutes for the PC to recognise the phone. I'm using a serial cable. Then I went for FloAt's Mobile agent and then put the correct configurations. The difference in my opinion is that FloAt's searches for the selected device right away. Instead the PC (or at least MY pc) does it whenever it feels like. You should try it

P.S. FloAt's doesn't use the phone monitor program, it seem to have it incorporated.
