I went to a mall today and for some reason, my T68i couldn't receive any signal.... and then I checked with my other friends who currently using the nokia ones.. they didn't have this problem at all.
so, I wonder if my phone has an internal problem or something.. @@~ |

Were your friends on the same network as you? Did you insert your SIM card into their phone to test if the problem was with your account?

I used to have a nokia - I could get good signal inside & outside - but with T68 it is not as good - signal fluctuates all the time inside - but coverage/signal cannot be guranteed inside a building - so I put up with it - cos its a great phone - and my nokia WAS shite & still is

& next time it happens - goto - connect/networks/select networks & see what happens - ur network should be listed - then log onto it

yeah, my friends were using the same network as I am.
but I didn't try my SIM card on his phone though.. does it matter??
since we are both applying the same wireless service??
One more thing, I just realize if there is a voice mail, the phone wouldn't immediately detect.. it will be delayed for few hours.. @@~
that's kind of troublesome since I have to keep calling back to check if there is an emergency msg...
Is there anyone else expericing the same problem?? |

thats a sim card/network related issue - get onto your service provider - if u always keep ur phone switched on - switch it off & back on once a day - that should help.

its cos nokias put more power into finding signal etc.
which is why they have less battery life.
have you noticed that if you put a nokia next to some speakers, you'll always get noise...
BUT put ye ericsson nearby, and you'll get no way near the same amount of noise

You have to adjust the search as automatic first and then if you still can not recieved the signal as compared to your friend then that may caused by your phone but this doesn't means that has a lower signal as compared to Nokia because Nokia Phone used to show the signal but you still can not call to the number or easily you can says that the signal that you see is a liaer signal not the real
Different phone also has different abilty even they are from the same factories.
