I got a text from O2 today, telling me about O2 Treats. In the text was a number to call to claim my treat, I rang i and was given a choice of treats, the first being free texts every month for the next 3 months, the second was free minutes a month for the next 3 months, and the third was unlimited texts between 7 and 8 pm for the next three months. Im on an O2 Online contract so im not sure if this wil be for all O2 contracts, but i would think it is not available for O2 Pay as you go. Anyway the number to call to claim your O2 treat is 2211. Hope this is useful. Sorry if its been posted already, tried searching and found nothing.

ah yes I got the text today aswell, few questions:
Is it free to call 2211? (knowing o2 will be 50p/min or something!)
How many free mins/texts they offer you?
Are you agreeing to any more minimum term contracts or anything by taking advantage of these 'treats'?

The call is free (that is actually the first thing they say when you phone. Call the number and they will tell you the offers available to you.
@mad4mobiles
You have to have had you contract for 6 months before taking up the offer.

@p900 lover: im on o2 online and just 'ordered' my treats

When you call up there will be two options, either choose your treats or learn more about treats - if you then choose choose your treats there will be 3 options, 1) texts 2) calls 3) texts between 7-8pm (there might be different treats for you) once you have selected one of these three, it will tell you what you have selected and ask you to confirm your selection - hope this helps working out whether you can get them or not!

I got the choice of either:
23 free extra texts per month....
10 mins extra free per month.... or
free texts between 7-8...

i'm on one of those discount 500 tariffs and already get 100 texts in my tariff (had it for almost a year now), so dont really need either, but i think i'll take the 23 texts, as 10 extra mins is nothing really [addsig]

thats a bit weird...I was offered 20 texts or 20 mins or free texts between 7-8pm and im on the discount 500 tariff too but I get 400 texts with it (btw they dont state it but its actually not unlimited texts between 7-8, read on their website somewhere that its max 60!)

i took the 20 texts too!

The Treats offered depend on your phone usage.

In the last quarter I've topped up £70 on PAYG. So, I get my 300 free SMS a month, I have 300 off-peak minutes a month on Talkalotmore (topped up £30 in the past month) and I got 25 peak landline/O2 minutes for the next 3 months as my Treat. I also got £7 credit today as my Reward.
