hi, i'm new to this site so sorry if this stuff has been posted before, i did look but could not find anything.
i recently tried to send a friend a file, though it would not accept an would fail everytime. his phone is a samsung d500, the black sliding one. it works fine with every other phone and another friend with a k700 can connect with him all the time. i don't know if this is something to do with the new firmware i have downloaded, r1n035, though why would it just not work with the d500, or could it be SE turning against samsung lol...
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx
trying to connect my k750i with this:

it says something like it has failed to connect or sometimes it makes stuff up about lack of memory, even if my friend has a hell load of it lol.

strange stuff... it shouldnt happend if it is done correctly.
I guess you do everything ok, and the bluetooth is activated in both phones, and the samsung guy has lot of space...
It shouldnt be a fw problem... I would really take both phones to a store/tech... and let them struggle! maybe they find anything wrong, and you get new ones...
Anyhow... can your friend receive from others? other k750 ? and can you send to any phone? other d500? if you answer yes to all this questions, maybe your friend has locked you from sending to him?...
Anyhow.. sounds really strange |

my and my mates' experience shows that samsung to se communication is problematic. haven't tried those particular models, so i guess it would be best both of you to try exchange with other models. This message was posted from a T610

I can recieve and send to everyone but him, and he can receive and send to everyone but me????? we've gone over all the settings and stuff and there seems to be no security or blocking. both infrared and bluetooth... its weird cos it gets to the sending screen that says how much has been sent, then cuts out and says what i said before. twice even both phones at the same time have cut out and reset~????~

I have had problems as well sending info via bluetooth. I have tried to send a photo to a nokia phone and could not, nor can I send info to my computer. I received a photo from the nokia phone and I can link my phone and my computer just fine and access all of the files on my phone from the computer but cannot send anything! Is there a solution? |
