How to.... "ir and windows nt" ? |

Hi fooks,
I have a dell notebook with an IR port.
On the this notebook, i run WIN NT.
The problem is i cant see the IR port anywhere in windows.
Its like its not installed or something.
Is there a special driver for this?
Can anyone help me??

check the settings for the IR port in the Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel) |

Windows NT does not include support for IR amongst other important things like USB.
There is a third party solution for IR in NT, but I sadly don't know what it is. You might want to search Dell website or just simply try www.google.com |

Thanks for the replies.
I Cant find any resources concerning IR on the dell site.
Though i read somewhere on the microsoft site that NT doens't support IR pots....
So unfortunately i rest my case......
Does WIN XP PRO support it?
