Hey,
I currently Own T68m.
Now 3650 is an upgrade to 7650. I would for sure go in for Nokia 3650, especially when i am from India. Sony Ericsson does not even have proper service centers here. Nokia has a name and is penetrated into the market. Services of Nokia are excellent here compared to SE. and 3650 is a bit small compared to 7650 when opened. I would prefer 3650 than to P800. Whats the point to buy such and expenses phone when I wont be getting proper services here. And also the losses may result winding up the company!
I have used Nokia 7650. Its far you easy to navigate than the p800. About the 3650's design i think its something unique. Something different. Though it may take a day or two to get used to typing messages on that phone.

you compaired a finished product (7650) and a phone that was still under development (P800)... when P800 hit the market it's probably quite different from when you tested it... |

Personally I have been long time fan of SE, however when i look at the spec of 3650 and the estimated price of the handset. I think 3650 stand a very good chance against the P800.
1. Price level at USD 250-300 (I think P800 will be 2 times the price) That will be the price of T300 (with no camera & 256 Colour, some will argue the necessity of 4096 colour in such small screen)
2. Tri-band support, many people will drop 7650 for this reason.
Nokia success is in making Handsets that is affordable to a wide-range of consumer group, sigh. SE really needs to do something. perhaps P300?

If you can't get proper service from SE in your country then just go for Nokia. But you don't have to say that 3650 is better than P800. Since not all of members here were live in India. Besides prototype does'nt mean the real condition of the P800. |
