Hi Guys

Just finished updrading my k750i to a w800i using total multi server and I wanted to check something about the sounds being played.

If I try to preview a ringtone nothing plays but if the phone rings I hear it. The same with texts. If I play a song in the media player without the headphones nothing plays. Any ideas? Is this normal?

Many thanks

Regards

Can any one help?

This is basically how it is:-

Through the headset I can here everything that I should do. Through the speaker all I hear is keytones and when the phone actually rings or a message comes in.

I can't hear the preview of ringtones or message tones, sound in video clips, music, startup or shutdown sounds and alerts unless I'm using the headphones.

The only thing I can think of is that I selected to mute the camera shutter when using Total Server. Could this have caused this?

Please help

While trying to preview the sounds, try pressing the + volume key. Press play and then as the song is playing press the + a few times... Did that help?
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I Nokia N95 8GB and N82

i kind of have a solution, i was reading another thread that said:-

"ALL i had to do is unplug the flash cable when the phone is on and then the sound came back!"

So what I did was plug the cable back in and start the phone and hey presto, sound!!!!! The problem is when I start the phone without the cable it won't work again.
