Hello po. I just wanted your opinions on what phone to get and also how much these phones are. I'm helping my gf do some research on what phone to get. Basically, her budget is 10KPhp, the phone should be able to do the basics (obviously), SMS, MMS, and then some bells and whistles, like an mp3 player, IR, a good organizer, voice recorder, and at least a 1.3MP camera that can also record videos. So far, her choices are the K300i, the K500i, and the T630. So what's the best bang for the buck phone? Average prices for these phones would also help. I would personally do the research, pero problema eh wala ako jan eh. Tenks tenks people.

@sonic, The k500 and k300 models are your best options and have the features your looking for. You can use esato to compare both fones. with regards to pricing, the k500 sells in the 9-95k range while the k300 dwells in the 7-75k range..hope it helps.

Great! Thanks for the info kenski. So by the price difference, I'm assuming it would be better to go the K500 route then? I was comparing the two phones and was wondering why the comparo showed the k500i having a Li-ion batt while the K300i had "NA" listed. Same with the camera specs, K300i having "NA" compared to 0.7 for the K500. Is this in MP? Any other SE phones within the 10K price range with 1.3MP? Also, I thought the K300 also had an mp3 player? I went to the SE site and read that it had one. And no synchronization for the K500?
Hehe, sorry kung makulit. Just wanted to make sure that the phone I suggest to my gf would be worth her money. Thanks for the input again. |

@Sonic Yan- both K300 and K500 can play MP3 and set them as ringtones they they only have VGA cameras pero may extended mode yung camera para maging 1.3 megapixel yung image but it's not as good as a true 1.3 megapixel camera. main differenca lang between K500 and K300 is yung screen, K500 has a better screen 65k TFT 128X160 katulad ng T630/T637 and K300 has 65k CSTN screen 128X128.

screen is ok for K300 but it has poor camera res.

Yeah, I told her to go with the K500, since the price difference is not that much and its still in her budget. Thanks for your input. |

i actually agree with this one. u can get one at the phones for sale section or from bidshot (just make sure its a reputable seller... ingat sa mga scammers) some rush sales at bidshot for the k700i go as low as 8500php. has a bigger memory than a k500. plus u hav radio and a photo light |

Hmmm, she never really thought about buying a phone used. I'll ask her and see what she thinks. I bought my P910i used as well, so I guess this could be another option. Thanks for the really helpful input. |
