anyone got any views on the headphones that come free with the w800. I went away on the week end forgetting my SE headphones so had to use other ones..... i have just tried the w800 ones and feel like ive taken a step backwards.... anyone else found these headphones poor? They look very nice but i have problems with getting them to stay in (and before i get slated for having 'big ears', i dont hee hee), also as i said just now, the quality seems to have been lost. anyone who havent noticed this, try using the w800 with the SE ear phones, then try other ones. post your findings, maybe its just me being picky or paranoid
Cheers all! |

Yeah has coxy said its best to try the different sizes. They should sound superb if they are properly inserted into your ears. |

yep! top form coxy! I tried the bigger size - they ear phones dont fall out anymore and the sound quality is better (because it actually sits in the right place now

can anyone who has both models also tell us, aside from the connector/adapter, how big is the difference between the w800 earbuds and the k750 earphones that came w/ their respective packages? original SE accessories are expensive here in the philippines and i want to know if it's worth waiting for that or would it be more advisable to buy/build an adapter for use with other headphones/earphones/earbuds. |

i tested them both and w800's earphones are MUCH better (not thtat the k750's are bad - way better than others - but they seem to fall out of your ear and they don't have the same powerfull bass as the ones on the w800.
An adapter wont have the handsfree function which is pretty important imo! |

Just for info the W800 headphones are essentially the same as the top of the range fontopia Canal Phones that Sony sell under the model MDR-EX71SL.
They are EXCELLENT headphones, but they have to be used correctly, the main issue is using the right size of the rubber fitting, out of the possible three, and ensuring the phones go right inside the ear canal.
If you don't get the rubber bits all the way in your ear they don't form an airtight seal and the potentially fantastic bass response is reduced to a crap hiss.
