Hello
I have K700 from 11 months.
FMA says - Number of charges 150.
From 1 month i have a problem:
I charge the battery (full), but when some one calls me - the phone say 'battery empty" and phone goes down.
The battery is little INFLATED!
When i charge the battery FMA says : Consumption is between 200 and 400 mA. Is that normal, bacause when the the charger is unplugget the comsuption is 40-60 mA.
Is the battery "broken"?
What can i do?

Also, try another battery if you have one, or borrow a friends and see if it does the same thing. If it does, then it's a software problem. Try updating the firmware from SE's update service, see if that helps. If it doesn't do this and the battery behaves normally then you could be needing a new battery.

I think the battery has a problem here, as - Sev said, he is experiencing some shortcomings (batt) since the 1st month he's using the fone. The 'stock' battery on my K7 then (without upgrades) can go from full charge to empty in 12 hours - torture test at that! The battery needs some replacin' I guess. [addsig]

@sev - Have you upgraded the firmware of your K7 matey? But whatever it is, I guess it's time for your 'old' batt to go. By the way, to better test the fone, see if you can borrow a battery for your K7 from a friend or what and test it on your fone. Good luck ! [addsig]

@sev - What I know is that 'original' batteries normally last for 2 years, on a normal use. But if your battery is acting strange on it's 11th month (not even reaching it's 1st year) then I guess it has already reached it's - "wear-and-tear" climax! But this is not the normal. Try using other K7 battery on your fone and see how they work dude, Good luck ! [addsig]

@sev - I am not a specialized/skilled celfone geek here, but for what I know 'only' a 'replacement/class A/immitation' battery can damage a fone, not instantly, but - gradually . . . Now in your case, better replace the batt - asap, as it may 'start' to give problem to your fone. Good luck ! [addsig]

@sev - Good ! Now put some inputs here too when you manage to get your fone a new batt, maybe it's the fone who has a problem and not the battery [addsig]
