Urgent - Ericsson k300i |

I recently purchased a Sony Ericsson k300i off of eBay, but have not paid for the item yet. I was wondering, since the phone is normally a European phone (I think?), then would it work in the United States? I am located in Oklahoma and I am with Cingular Wireless, and according to the local Cingular store, we run on a 900MHz frequency here.
Also, the phone is coming with a European style charger. I was told that I could just buy an adapter from a local electronics store and it would work. Do you guys think it will affect the phone's performance in any way? Can someone PLEASE help me? Thanks |

The K300 is a triband phone.
Hence, i don't see any problems with the phone working on GSM 900..

I thought only 850 and 1900 was used in North America.
