DaVinci with k700i, "press power button" but then? |

Hi.. tried google and searched this forum but didn't find the helping answer yet. I got an unlocked voda k700i and want it unbranded. Got 1 credit from davinci, using their 13.9 software. Check Available ports tells me the DSS-20 is on COM3 so I select DSS3 there.
The phone is switched off and on the DSS-20. Then when I press "Read CID/Test cable" I get a message about 1 credit,
**** READING CID STARTED****
Shortly press Power button!
but that's it. When I press it my phone goes on, asks for my PIN but nothing happens on davinci even if I wait 10 mins. It has worked 1 time a few hours ago it detected a k700i then but I can't figure out what I did different that one time. Anybody got a clue what I do wrong? Thanks. |

Funny.. found the problem. The trick was to remove the battery, put the phone on the DSS-20 and then put the battery in. 
Now a different challenge:

i think u have load with the wrong flash files..... ur phone is cid29 but u used cid36.... try to use cid29 flash files |

Umm.. I see 2 confusing things:
Status Ok, OTP Close, CID29, PAF1
Phone CID:36
CID29 and CID36. (?)
Before I screw up my phone, anybody who can confirm I need to use the CID29 to 36 flash from davinci 1st?

I used the K700_TRANSFORM_CID29_to_CID36.DVT and it accepted, but the phone went back to CID29.

And when I try to use CID29_to_CID36 again I get this at 25%:

I got a non-working phone now and no clue what to do
I can flash both the R2AY004 (Main and FS) now but with a warning of CID mismatch. That won't work right?
Can anybody help me?

I had seen that one, just didnt recognise it as "the" davinci support forum. Sorry m8.
Anyway it's all working now. I thought the CID29 to CID36 file was some sort of transform on your phone and that you would see something had changed after its done.
But no, it appears its only making sure you can load the CID36 software on a CID29 phone. So just push the ignore CID option, don't pay attention at the warnings of CID mismatch and as long as everything loads you can finalize and will be ok. I was thinking too difficult and was paying too much attention about what was going on. The phone has the latest version now, menus are way faster, the battery lasts way longer already noticeable and no more ugly vodjefone customisations.
