Eyup, i have found that the best way is to get onto Ebay and find someone ulocking S/E via remote - here are the 3 main ones and numbers to their auctions -5814100938,5813969802,5813902490 - they require the phone to be sent to them though so theres going to be a small risk, however if you review their feedback you can see they have been at this for a while and are trustworthy, they are also able to unbrand the phone so you dont have any annoying network operator settings or logos on the phone....handy! the only other way i know of is to get it done at a shop, but this can be more expensive - i didnt know that O2 locked their phones, but i wouldnt put it past them - hope this help some? phil |

The Answer to your question
Orange Lock All Handsets and charge £20 to unlock them (You can now also pay the £20 at any point of your contract and dont have to pay the remainder up front like you used to.
Vodafone Lock Most Contract Handsets now, PAYG all of them. Cost to unlock does vairy from £12-£25
TMobile, All handsets are locked. Unlock cost I beleive is between £20 and £25
02. All PAYG are locked, Cost to unlock i beleive are £20.
Contract, some phones are locked, but very few. No charge to unlock (I beleive.)
Please dont hold it against me if any of the prices are wrong orthe info is incorrect / out of date.
Hope this helps |
