file size(mp3 +mp4. relation with power used! |

Dear all
Is there any connection with the size of file Mp3 and mp4 etc... on the energy used to play them. I was listerning using window media the 8MB music for about 12 hour the same track. The battery charge dropped tremendosly compared to when I played 1.8 mp4 track the same time.
any idea. |

I guess if the bitrate is higher more processing power is required.

I never thought of that before, but yeah thats probably why my battery runs down so quick when listening to mp3's. I like high-bit rates you see  |

I just stick to AAC (MP4) format for audio. I encode them at 64kbit, sound quality is good imo.
