Any updates on Digitel Mango subs? Coverage? I'm interested to get one but I'm from Manila. Or it's better to get Broadband Phils' CDMA? Whatdya think guys? Thanks... |

Digitel's franchise area is limited... not all of Metro Manila is covered. At present, only a 5km radius from their Libis office is being serviced. Their only advantage over Broadband's service is that you could get your own unit and have it programmed by Digitel for a minimum fee as long as it is compatible with the system.
Broadband's franchise area is nationwide and about 70% of Metro Manila is already covered. |

Digitel is also offeirng the MANGO service in Laguna. Number starts with 049.
We tested the signal in Cabuyao last weekend and signal seems to be fine using the ZTE unit. We were also able to connect to the internet and went around the subdivision without getting disconnected.
However we only got ~115kbps.

got 1 for my mother in silang cavite, but the signal is to weak in my mothers place thats why an external antenna was needed to be installed outside for additional cost , they promised to install it this coming sunday |
