hi i have a t230, a bsnl prepaid with full gprs activated and has installed modem driver for t200. now i dial for a connection , no errors and pc says it is connected at 115kbps.to that everything is fine.when i try to browse using browser i get the page not found message.when i checked the connection details in my pc it says 3456bytes sent and 876 bytes recieved. when i checked he gprs counter in phone it says 2345bytes sent and 645 bytes recieved. what does it all add up to.is there any special proxy settings?? i enabled automatic proxy detection in my browser settings, but no use. please help

Are you dialling the right dialup code...the *99***x# thingy??
what digit are you using in place of "x" in the *99***x# code?

hey i dialed 98* instead of 99. but still 99 does not work. x is the cid number shown in data comm menu.isint it?

Okay...try this

1) Go to control panel>phones & modems
2) Select the t200 modem>properties
3) In the modem properties box click the Diagnostics tab
4) Click "Query modem"
5) Wait for the query log to appear and scroll down till you see CGDCONT "x"

Note down the number that x represents and use that in the *99***x# string

Or either go to Connectivity> Data Comm > Profile. And then select the required id and click more. Click info or settings or something like that. You'll see its external ID. Use this instead of x

when i try to query the modem it says the modem is either busy or not responding
