Recently it has been announced that T-Mobile and Cingular are in talks to merge. I think this would be a great move in bringing GSM coverage to the US in a big way. Cingular is slowly migrating its network to GSM, however from what I have read it is not great. T-mobile, at least in Dallas works great. I hope this mereger is approved and happens and the T-Mobile will be the surviving company.

I have cingular in the south and I would not use any thing other than the gsm |

I don't like that idea, since once again we will be left with only two companies to choose from for GSM.
