Could some one advise on the necessary steps to follow in order to use my K750i while I am traveling in Europe (Italy, France).. I am currently on Tmobile-USA network (live in Cali.)...
Do I need to purchase a European SIM card? where? how much? Or could I use the phone as is? i believe the latter option is more expen$ive !!...

u should ask your operator about possibly roaming in eu. that would be the best solution imo, but let yourself inform about the prices of calls, sms etc.

Roaming from the UK to US is very expensive, so I suspect it is the other way.
It's easy to pick up a PAYG sim when you get to Europe. Some of the roam quite cheaply - for instance Vodafone UK has something where you just pay an extra 75 per call in most of Europe, and then pay your uk rates.

(check before you buy the sim that you are eligable. not all montly price plans are, so there may be conditions on some sims too) |

yes i have bought 2 different phones in germany from D2, both prepaid cards. you just buy the package(you can get a phone with it too if you want) and then use the sim in your k750i. IF you need more minutes, you can purchase cards for them from many many shops... good luck!

I believe any network will work with that phone. All providers support GSM.
As for which cards and company, you may want to try google groups for information. Here's a link to get you started:

(I did this in Australia, and registration was a bit involved. it may be a challenge if you don't speak the language) |

Make sure your Phone is not simlocked. Then get a prepaid card. Roaming will cost ya so much cash. Your really better off buying a different sim in each country u visit. |
