if you use the search you can find threads about it... the major changes are improvements/fixes on SMS, MMS, GPRS and synchronisation... and the "Total call time" is moved to the Servicemenu...

I have R2E and my phone is very stable. And IMHO the stability is much improved since R2B. The newest software is R2F, but I haven't upgraded to that version yet.

I asked my local SE service center about the upgrade and he said that he has the one that upgrades from t68m to t68i,i asked him if he has the one for t68i, the upgrade from R2B to R2E but he said he doesnt know, he just connects it to the pc and logs on to a site or something and it detects my phone and checks if it has the latest software version and if it doesnt, it downloads it to the phone. Is this how it goes?

Also when i upgrade my t68i software do i have to backup my phonebook? i asked my local SE service center and they said that all my personal data will be deleted, they said that the memory will be reseted. Is this true? and if so, do u guyz keep backing up your data every time you go for an update?

I had R2B025 and now have R2E006. The only difference I have noticed is when composing SMS using T9.

It's worth it. I'd do the upgrade. Your phone book will be erased, so you'll have to back it up. I would also recommend to back up your other settings, like GPRS, SMS, etc. It is recommended to perform the master reset after the upgrade and all those settings will be erased too. Good luck!

By the way, I did not back up any data (phonebook entries), WAP settings and stuff like appointments.... and nothing was deleted. It was all there, even the themes that I downloaded. I checked several times and the phone was definitely upgraded from R2B025 ro R2E006.
