Is there a limited number of words that we can add to the dictionary whle writing an sms in T9 format? Coz ive been trying to add new words to dictionary for the past couple of days but to no avail, they do get added dont get me wrong but when i exit the SMS and then come back again and try writing the same word it doesnt recognize it and i have to add it again to dictionary, i keep doing this every time i write an sms , so the adding to dictionary option is useless. But i know its wokring on my mobile coz there r words i added some time back and theyre still there, hence my questions comes up, is adding to dictionary limited to a certain number of words?

Has the new word disappeared completely or is it that you have to scroll down the list to find it? Words that I have entered are not displayed a the first option when another word is available, I have to scroll down to select my word.

Sounds like you may have reached the dictionary limit (obviously because of physical memory available there is a maximum number of custom words you can enter, but I have not read anywhere as to the actual limit size).

Did you enter lots of words? You can erase them by doing a master reset all (but you will obviously lose everything unless you backup beforehand).

Hello
I don't think that you have over used your T9 memory but the actual problem may be caused by your phone. It also happened with me once but now it work perfectly so don't worry man!
