As we all know, the finns are using a kind of booster in thier fones for better reception. i am using 6680 in the last time, do noticed, that the rec indicator is mostly full, but testing the "real" qulity of rec by 3 different cell applications in the "real time" its mostly 20 - 30% less. then whatfor is the booster?

which cell apps are you using? (I assume you are using 3rd party apps in your phone to counter check)
i read somewhere that later version of series60/symbian, the ability to get some cell info was remove from the API. This may mean that 3rd party apps can no longer access this cell information properly. |
