These two phones are competing at each others.......both targeting at the low end youth market , I think T300 looks better than the new nokia announced.........T300 is tri-band compare to 3510i dual band, T300 is a little bit lighter in weight, also the screen of T300 is bigger than 3510i, T300 has IR but 3510i don't (which makes transfer pics and ringtone between friends and PC more difficult, so T300 wins here), the only thing that nokia 3510i win is the 4096 screen and Java enabled, but as both targets at youth market, I believe java is not that important, gaming may be more appealing to teens, I believe T300 will have more fun and good games for download than those java games........the only disadvantage is its only 256 colour screen.............lets see who will win !!!!!!!!

SE phones is much better than nokia phones,
but now nokia is packin MMS in all of it phones with a very low price and a nice design, 3510i looks bad, but at least looks better than t300,
so nokia will sell the most i think, but SE phones are much better than nokia's

If the T300 had a 12-bit screen and more memory, it could've been a VERY interesting tie!!!
But as far as marketing goes... I think Nokia will win |

I hate to say it and also hate to admit it, but Nokia will win where marketing is concerned. For us lot, its because we know all the features and stuff but majority of mobile phone users do not know about the features and they go on looks. Thats my verdict. |

the problem for SE is that 3510 cost 100 euro les and most people that buy a phone for 200 euro or less dosnīt care if the phone has ir or not, becuse they will never use it and rather pay les then to get ir! |

In my opinion SE will be in deep(er) trouble if they don't release anything new this year.
And they have to be faster from release --> store then they are now. |

12/8-bit doesn't matter so much. It's the how the user interface makes use of the colors that matters. That screen is like 1,5 inches in diagonal, so 256 colors on the screen at the same time is well enough.
Look and feel is the only important thing. Talk about bits and bytes bores the kids. This is why gameboy is a success, and this is why nokia is a success. |
