I've just finished my Contract. I had a Nokia 8210. I bought a T68 as a replacement, so now i need to sell the 8210. What do you think's a reasonable price?

It's in pretty good condition (because i dropped it in September and they sent me a new one lol).

Any info would be good.

Well I sold my 8210 just before christmas on eBay and got £125 for it. The going rate at the moment seems to be £90 - £100

127 brand new?....so i should sell my less than 6 months old 8210 for 15 quid?!

Not very logical! lol.

Xmob - did you sell it to a person in the UK or abroad? Locked or unlocked?

Looks like they're going for 70-105 on e-bay.

I think that'll be the way to go. Some good bids (high) going in for 8210's a mo.

Thanks for ya help )

It was sold to a UK buyer unlocked. If you're phone is locked it's worth paying the tenner it costs to get it unlocked if you don't have the means to do it yourself. ;o) It makes them far easier to sell for a better price.

eBay is brilliant for sellers, you ofter see items being sold for near (sometimes more than) the retail price at new.

Do you have the right sort of lead? If needs to be a parallel one, not serial, for unlocking. If you do then the right software to use all depends on the software version in your phone. Do *#0000# on the 8210 and this will tell you the software version. Let me know and I'll point you in the direction of the software you need.
