Use the FM without the headset |

Does anyone if itīs possible to use the FM radio on k750/w800 WITHOUT the headset plugged in? it should work but with bad reception... I guess itīs only a software thing... |

what some people have done is taken the plug part and cut the cable off. This works to varynig degrees. I've not heard of any software "fix" that would allow that without something being connected at the bottom

no its not poossible, to activate the radio feature on D750i/K750i/W800i there has to be a handsfree in, as far as I know although please correct me if I am wrong

Hmm.. I'd say it's more of a hardware issue than a software issue. So you'd probably still need the headset if you want to use the fm radio effectively.

It should be possible for SE to write out the part that needs the headset to use the radio but it would be pointless. Without the headset plugged in there would be no aerial so all you would be able to listen to is static. |
