Sold my nokia 6230 on ebay which was on o2 contract. I sold due to upgrade. Its now asking the new owner to put her pin number which has worked and now its asked for a security code???
Tried the default "12345" but doesn't work. Pls help.

Try the usual 00000 11111 stuff, failing which you'd probably need to pop into a phone shop... I think you can do it using a cable too...

It should say in the manual what the default code is.

Default code on all nokia's is 12345.
If its changed, the handset must go for a software upgrade, you can try this code (*#7370#) without the sim in the handset, it may or may not work.

his phone is 6230,on which the *#7370# trick wont work.however one work around is that on some different s60 phone,you can use the mcode application.in it put the imei,it'll generate the code.that's it.your phone will be working.pm me if you want any thing. |
