Many praise the S700 screen for being pretty much scratch proof (I know it's not completely scratch proof).

So my question: Is the K750 screen of the same quality? Or does it scratch easily like the one of T630?

thanks for the compliment! being an S700i user, i think it has a scratch-resistant screen. as for the screen of the K750i, i do think it has similar screens like the T610/T630/K700i series. the materials used in those phones are inferior to the materials used in the S700i. That's probably one factor why the S700i is, to quote some people, "overpriced"...

The w800 screen seems pretty soft and i don't think it'll stay scratch free for long. Have a screen protector tho.

I nearly had a heart attack the other day as my k750 was in my back pocket and I sat down on a steel chair and thought I had crushed the screen. Took it out my pocket and said 'nooooo' in slow mo as there was this kinda smudge/dent in it but after a bit off finger rubbin it came off 'phew'

Anywho, I have had it now for about 4 months and not a single scratch anywhere on the phone or screen and I always keep it in my jean pockets!!! Lucky me

You made my day
I also tend to keep my phone in my jean pocket and thus was worried how the screen of K750 would take it.

Could you check in detail if there are any marks of wear on the edges of the lens cover? That's probably the first place to show em.

I keep it in my jean pocket. I have noticed that the screen seems much better than the K700.

Watch me now scratch the screen.

@Draqula

Well its funny you should mention camera cover wear as yesterday I examined it and found two TINY 'wear and tear' marks on the sharpish bit of the cover (part that says 2.0 mega pixels etc). Its not too bad and it just looks as if a tiny part of the colour has come off but this is expectable really but defo nothing to worry about.

What's the colour underneath the silver that's come off? Black?

I took the simple solution and got a case for my K750i. Krusell do a nice leather one which suits me and protects the screen and lens cover from scratches. Hides the sleek lines of the phone though, but when you want to pose, you can just take it out of the case - easy. (Btw, I don't work for Krusell.)
