Difference between k750i and w800i |

Hi All,
Sorry if this has been asked before. What is the actual difference between these phones? From what i can see is not a lot except the w800 is classed as a walkman phone. I'm not exactly a tech buff on phones so pls go easy. i'm getting the w800i for my birthday but a friend has the choice of the two. They both play music so why is one classed as a walkman?
any help appreciated

The W800i has an enhanced media player, which can also function standalone.
It ships with a 512 MB MS Pro Duo...whereas the k750 only ships with a 64 MB one.

this is my w800i with its silicone case on mate...
well... the w800i lets you watch videos in full screen mode, the earphones are better, im not to sure if you can take photos with the k750i while talking on the phone but you can with the w800i, the w800i has a designated start/stop button, one press on it and it will start your last song... two presses repetetivly if your keys are locked.
like the other geezer said... its comes standard with 512mb card instead of 64mb card... there is alot more functions the w800i has over that of the k750i but they are both very good phones. i would get the w800i, i have both

@dubai - The choice now lies in your hands mate, if you are more of a music techno and video geek (512 MB card) guy then go for the  W800i. The 'only' advantage of the K750i I guess is it's - covers! Good luck . . .

i disagree JN!! the k750i is far more ugly than the w800i... just look at my pics
and whats that about music/video geek if you have your ex girlfriend cumming and moaning your name on cam and sound clip, and david beckham scoring a wonder goal against greece and the best handbrake turn ever while escapeing from the police??

If you really wanna compare the difference in specs, check out gsmarena.com. They have an option that allows you to compare two different phones. Comes with detailed reviews and user opinions too. =)

The K750 can also view full screen video, the camera works while on calls (and is muted), and the music button starts the media player with one press, or two if locked.
The K750 and W800 are identical hardware so I doubt there is any difference between their video playback performance 
The W800 has flight mode, a different mediaplayer interface, media player button in place of the activity button, and walkman styling. Other than that the only difference to the K750 is in the packaging: the hpm70 and ear bud earphones, and 512MB duo.
I like activity button rather than media player button, but I'd also like flight mode. I like the K750 style better, but would like "walkman" branding just for the kick (I owned an original TAPE walkman ). So my ideal w800/k750 doesn't exist 
But overall the K750's only real disadvantage is the lack of flight mode, in every other respect I prefer the K750 over the w800. |
