I'm using Windows XP pro sp2 and I have installed all required software & drivers from the CD that came w/ k750i - and restarted my PC. When connecting the K750i windows only detects the mass storage, the SE file manager says "not connected", and the sync software just won't show up. I have tried to install it on Win2k machine and it worked just fine (I remember windows asked me to assign name to the phone in the configuration wizard etc.). However, the glory of successful detection of mass storage occurs once and only once after the computer restart or powered on.
Has anyone experienced this before? How do I get around this issue? Is there any particular tricks I have to be aware of when connecting K750i to Windows XP ?

I think the SE File Manager shows "not connected" until you press f5 for a few times.

thanks for the response. unfortunately, pressing f5 to refresh it many times doesn't do the trick. the SE mobile phone monitor also doesn't show that there's a phone connected.
it seems that the drivers don't work fine - i tried downloading it directly from SE but it doesn't help. tried to reinstall pc suite but still no luck.
i wouldn't say my pc mainboard is defective since other devices seem to work just fine.

I`m a D750i user. I have another problem but first I will try to help in yours. In order for the pc suite to detect my phone i`ve had to configure it by clicking the RMB on the black phone situated in the taskbar. There you go to the com ports and enable all of them if they aren`t already.

Now to my problem:
I am able to connect to the phone, but when i`m transfering a file to the memory stick it just disconnects and i have to restart my pc in order to be able to connect it again. It`s almost the same when i use the File manager, but it gives an error while sending, still, i can try again, with the same result. But if the file is smaller it usually gets sent without a problem.

EDIT:
I`ve updated my phone(or at least i`ve tried- it still has the same firmware version) and now i have no problems transfering files over the dcu-60 cable

make sure that WinXP SP2 is using Bluetooth driver comming with your dongle, not from windowsXP SP2 itself.
Goto Conrol Panel->System->Device Manager->Hardware->Bluetooth device. Right click->properties->drivers->update drivers. Update driver wizard should start. Press next and choose ' display a list of know driver...'. You should see one from microsoft and one from your dongle software. Choose the last one, restart and this should work now.
