I'm thinking of upgrading my Nokia 6230 to the SE K750i. Just wondering is the texting responsive? Is there lag between keypresses and the letters showing on screen like there was with my old T610?

Hi m8,
I've had a few Nokias over the years and find the SE's better fones.only fault i can find with the predictive txting is after a sentence, unless u put a space after a full stop it wont start with a capital letter.

I really do like it. I prefer the keys over the T630. IMO much better and comfortable.
I think you gonna like it!

What about the actual speed though? Is it sluggish in showing the characters up on screen?

Yes it's quite quick. But why don't you just go to a store and try it out? You won't be disappointed i'm sure!

Then move house

But on a serious note,my K750i is extremely quick at showing up the letters even when texting at full speed. I also hate to use T9 so I use ''old skool'' texting style, its highly recommended. [addsig]

hiya, i have a w800i and a k750i

thats not a fault mate... thats because your meant to have a space after a fullstop

also... i agree with defensive, i dont bother with t9... "old skool" texting its much easier than t9, i think you can add your own words to the t9 dictonary though which is cool, however i may be wrong.

i thought you had a w800i defensive?

you got both like me? were greedy buggers

@ bondie - I had x2 K750i's and x1 W800i - One of my K750i's I swopped for a P910i, the other I flashed to W800i firmware and am using right now. The W800i I purchased cheaply and sold at a minor profit because I still prefered the K750i looks. [addsig]

ohh, i dont... in my opinion the w800i looks far more stylish, especially the back

it does look less like a "mike tyson" phone though, lol... meaning not as manly but its really a great design

did you notice on the k750i you couldnt watch videos in full-screen mode?

thats a really good thing i like about the w800i and also the headphones are awsome... the dj tiesto song is cool but its dissapointing that its only the first 20 seconds or so
