Hi All,
Sorry if this post has been posted earlier.
I just download the sony upgrade service drivers. I switched off the phone. Connected the USB cable to the
pc. Then Pressed 'c' keyboard key and plugged in the usb cable in the phone. The phone started up and asked for the 'pins'. I entered from the pc these "pins". The mobile monitor shows k750. But even after that there is no new hardware found getting popped up. So basically i dont see any new hardware. Then I pasted the driver in the system 32 (i have winxp pro) folder so that it might pick up from there if i start the installation from the se site for pc client. After downloading..I asked me for firewall user name and pwd which it accepted. But then gave an undefined error. I saw the logs..it said proxy success, could not find file D:\hf.path.
So my question
1) Does anybody have any idea y i am not getting the new hardware found wizard, and what is the workaround
2) where do i get the hf.path? I searched in my pc.. not found.
3) If i am doing an update, will it delete my pics, vids, schedules etc.?
4) I am hearing that people facing a problem that after update the pc recog the phone as a w800. Is it true? Has it been corrected.?
I just hope someone can really help me on this..!!
