New firmware sucks or not? |

I hear a lot of different stuff.
Some say it's great and all and others say it sucks like hell.
What do you think and what is your reason?
Do you think that updating is good or not?

Gone fromRA>RL >RN. Differences marginal. Unless you have specific problem hard to get over-excited by it all. |

I dont know i have my k750 a month now so i got it originally woth R1L of J is dont know anymore.
Sow i allways have had the "bad" firmware :/
So i would be pretty exited if the pictures and movies are better indeed.
But they say that the mp3 part sucks now in the new firmware |

after hearing of all the complaints, I'd rather stick with the old firmware, maybe will upgrade if something later than R1N comes out.

The problem is not the fm itself but rather the process of updating from SEUS. It's good to have the latest fm but SE need to seriously look at making the whole process more user-friendly and less cumbersome. I've done the updates twice for R1L & R1N and both times faced some kind of problem. Though eventually I did managed to get it working, but it's a hassle, not mentioning wasted lotsa precious time and increased my blood pressure.. |

Fully agree with Hamlau.
If you manage to update successfully, there should be no problems at all!
I did it after trying six or seven times (from R1L to R1N), and when I finally made it the best thing is my pictures are better and ESPECIALLY video quality.

The R1N is close to perfect. There is just one media player issue upto now for me. |

I have upgraded to R1N from R1L and the camera does seem better. However, I sem to be having problems with it at the moment because it keeps switching itself off like it used to do on R1A.
does anyone know how to fix this problem?
cheers

R1N035 has problems with Bluetooth (phone restarts when transfering files) and with memory card (not all transfered files are on the card when transfered using USB cable). |

This new FW works better then my lastest one (R1L).
- Bluetooth didn't crashed during transfer. This happend a few times before with the R1L.
- Camera quality is a little bit improved, as well in the filesize
The only thing i got is that the K750i hanged when i was zooming in a picture (made with the cam). Needed to remove the battery to restart the phone to get it work again. |
