T600 prepared for t68-like display? |

Hi all!
Iīve had a look of some of the pictures of hte new T600 and also tried the emulator, have not seen one in real life yet...
There seems to be a space at the top of the screen that isnīt used for anything and it seems that the display "border" (the casing around the display) goes outside this... I noted that if you try the emulator for the T600 next to the emulator for the T300 the area cut for display seems to have the same geometrical proportions for them both....
Maybe there is a T6xx with a T300/T68 display in the pipe?! would be really nice...
Any thoughts?

OK.. I take that point.. the "platform" is probably a "stopgap" but itīs not the "platform" that matters to me but the formfactor and size of the phone..
Anyone have a good explanation for SE putting a small display in a larger "hole" ??
if you look at names...where are T100, P100, P200, P300, P400, P500, P600, P700 etc?

er no you dont get me the t66=t600 the outside is the only diffrence. the border is part of the design you could put a larger screen in but not colour
the p800 is in a diffrent numbering system to the t series of phones
so it starts a p800 and goes up
the t series starts a t200 and goes up from there all i was pointing out is there are numbers missing from the line up which may or maynot be future phones
ok? |
