Yes, the number is assigned when the SIM is registered.
This allows you to 'upgrade' your old PAYG number onto a new SIM.
Once you have the number, just press the volume key (with keys unlocked) to see it! |

yeah... just done mine, does anybody know if your FIRST free evening and weekend texts are put on to start with or if you have to to up £15 to get your FIRST free 3000
i know you have to top up to get them but i mean the FIRST ones as on o2 you get your first free 300 without topping up.
ohh... and you get a free pound when you top up on these new orange ones 
ask for lisa, shes ace
first time on orange... its going to be good for the weekends
