Hmmm... If the phone was legally imported to your country, should have the imei number in their books, which can help you in getting a warranty on a phone without bill or any documents, but this does not apply to a grey market piece. This is what happens in india. Dunno if the laws are different in your place.

yes it has a 1 year warranty if bought anywhere in the EU.
the warrenty starts from the week number printed on the back near the IMEI number if you dont have a reciept.
it looks like this
04W48 which is on my S700 which means Week 48 Year 2004
